Lauren joined the Tabima Lab Fall 2023. Her current research interests are studying genomics, secondary metabolism, and evolution of symbiosis for Basidiobolus.
Lauren completed her B.S. in Molecular Genetics specializing in Plant Biology at The Ohio State University where she analyzed the genome of a fungal endophyte. After graduating, she was a research assistant at The Arabidopsis Biological Resource Center and hiked The Appalachian Trail.
